Unless otherwise noted, the Matrix Modes/Mode Packs listed on this page are compatible with any Arsenal-powered Control Surface script that has a Button Matrix. Also, the System Requirements and Purchasing Info are the same for all Modes/Mode Package on this page.
Each Matrix Mode dictates the functionality of the controller's Button Matrix, Matrix Accessory Buttons (typically its Scene Launch Buttons) and Arrow Buttons.
Each Matrix Mode is briefly described on this page. For complete details about how each Matrix Mode works within a particular Arsenal-powered Control Surface script, please refer to the script's user manual.

This is a Mutable Mode that sets up the Matrix for triggering user-assignable actions via our powerful ClyphX Pro script. Each instance of this Mode can trigger different sets of ClyphX actions.
The Matrix Accessory Buttons are used for storing/recalling Snapshots of the settings of the Tracks and Devices in your Live set. Each instance of this Mode can store its own set of Snapshots.
The Arrow Buttons are used for basic navigation.

Sets up the Matrix for controlling user-assignable global parameters and properties (such as transport and tempo) as well as for triggering user-assignable actions via our powerful ClyphX Pro script.
The Matrix Accessory Buttons are set up as a Button Slider for controlling Cue Volume while the Arrow Buttons are used for basic navigation.

Provides 3 Sub-Modes for playing instruments on the current Track. These Sub-Modes will be automatically selected based on the contents of the Track.
In all of these Sub-Modes, the Matrix Accessory Buttons are used for controlling Note Repeat, which allows the Matrix to produce a stream of continuous, rhythmic Notes at different rates (such as 1/32 or 1/4).
The Arrow Buttons are used for navigating Tracks in Session View or the Insert Marker in Arrangement View and for switching between Octaves.

Offers the same functionality as Note Mode (described above) and adds some additional functionality. The Drum Rack and Simpler Sub-Modes each offer two additional Layouts that you can switch between.
In both of these Sub-Modes, the Matrix Accessory Buttons have some additionally functionality as well. When Note Repeat is not in use, they are used to select the Resolution and Velocity to use for Step-Sequencing.
Sets up the Matrix for Scale-based polyphonic Step-Sequencing into MIDI Clips on the current Track. 24 Scale Types are available.
The Matrix Accessory Buttons are used to select the Resolution and Velocity to use for Step-Sequencing.
The Arrow Buttons are used for navigating Tracks in Session View or the Insert Marker in Arrangement View and for switching between Octaves.
